Dr. Britt

Dr. Brittany Schroeder, PT, DPT, WCS, NCPT

Founder | Pelvic Health Physical Therapist | Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher

Dr. Britt is the founder of Core Moves Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy & Pilates, where she combines specialized physical therapy expertise with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live more confidently.

She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The Ohio State University and completed a Women’s and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Residency through OhioHealth and Ohio University. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy (WCS) and a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), with comprehensive Pilates training through Polestar’s rehabilitation program.

Her clinical approach integrates pelvic health, orthopedic rehabilitation, Pilates, and nervous system-informed care. She has particular interests in complex pelvic pain, hypermobility, chronic pain, and helping individuals return to the activities they love.

As both a physical therapist and Pilates teacher, Dr. Britt believes movement should be accessible, adaptable, and empowering. Her teaching emphasizes thoughtful movement, body awareness, and progressive strength rather than rigid rules or one-size-fits-all exercise.

Through Core Moves, she strives to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and lifelong wellness, helping people build the confidence and capacity to keep moving well beyond physical therapy.

Megan Katz

Megan Katz is a Pilates instructor and somatic movement practitioner with over a decade of teaching experience. Her thoughtful, nervous system-informed approach helps clients build strength, stability, body awareness, and confidence in movement.

Megan Katz

Megan Katz

Pilates Instructor | Movement Educator | Somatic Movement Practitioner

Megan has been practicing Pilates since 2010 and teaching since 2014. Her journey into movement began through her own experiences with hypermobility, instability, and chronic neck and back pain. Discovering the transformative potential of Pilates inspired her to help others develop greater stability, body awareness, and confidence in their bodies.

Megan completed her comprehensive Pilates teacher training through Movement Insights and pursued advanced Pilates studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her continuing education includes a 500-hour Alignment Yoga certification, CoreAlign Level I, Primitive Reflex Integration Levels I and II, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level I.

Megan’s teaching is particularly well suited for individuals seeking a thoughtful, corrective approach to movement. Rather than focusing on the intensity of a workout, her sessions offer an opportunity to slow down, explore movement patterns, and develop a deeper understanding of how the body works.

Drawing from her background in Pilates, yoga, somatic movement, and nervous system-informed practices, Megan helps clients workshop specific movements, identify compensatory strategies, and explore more efficient ways of moving. Her sessions emphasize precision, mindful repetition, coordination, and stability, with individualized guidance throughout.

Megan is an excellent fit for those navigating hypermobility, chronic pain, movement limitations, or the transition from physical therapy to independent exercise. She also works with experienced movers who want to refine their technique, address persistent movement challenges, or deepen their body awareness.

At Core Moves, Megan offers a space to slow down, ask questions, and approach movement with curiosity and intention. Her sessions are less about getting a workout in and more about developing the skills, awareness, and confidence to move better in everyday life.
